kwaiken blades 懐剣

Kwaiken is a dagger formely carried by men and women of the samurai class in Japan.A useful self defense alternative to the katana or wakizashi, wich were inconvenient in size for indoors.Women recieved kaiken as a part of her wedding gifts.My kaiken blades are ment to be used as a neck knife of kitchen blade . Both are handmade with 4mm S30V and tan G10 scales.Between the scales and the blade there is also a thin black spacer.I want to finish these blades in december.Comes with kydex sheath in the colors grey,black or tan.

The prototype for my grizzly folder has been finished.I have added 6 pics to my gallery.Specs : 0.0157″ thick crucible S30V blade ,titanium linerlock with carbonfiber scales . Open knife is about 6.88″ and closed 4.1″, weight 3.7oz.Bead blast finish.
