if you have interest in my work ?

Until now I have been a hobby knifemaker , inspired by many other wonderfull knifemakers.There are so many knives and tools I would like to try to develope my skills.Knifemaking is sometimes difficult but also a grateful due to enormous positive feedback .

The increase in mail traffic, growing visitors and lot’s of nice comments in forum forces me to step into knifeworld as a professional knifemaker.I surely have to organise a lot before I get into bussiness.I guess time has come to personalize my work . It all takes time and effort to get into the right position.

Some time ago I made the decision to make some new tool , a design which I strongly believe .I have plans to make other folding knives , some in corporation with other artists, but largely I will put my time to deploy new designs.

Many people sometimes forget about the time there is needed to finish a custom knife or tool.They sent me lot’s of mail but I suggest them to be patient and regulary visit my blogsite.I can’t work while being behind my computer.I know it’s all part of the job but 2009 must be different.I wish to finish some prototypes and start production of them.However I’m thankfull to all people who has ever contacted me with questions or praise.So please don’t get angry if I can’t help you immediately with your favourite knife.

Some designs are made once, single pieces .Other knives are based on designs of other knifemakers.Only made to improve my skills and test new materials like kydex or S30V.Please don’t ask me to duplicate those because I don’t.Honor to the people who deserves it !

A few knives on the workbench are waiting to be finished : 2 kaiken fixed blades,1 flipper folder and two small neckknives.It can take some time to finish because I also need some new jiggs to work the G10.Apart of these knives in project I still have some blades for the mini and stowaway design.Those blades has been made in batch and I could make more folders of them.

I am also working on the prototype of a folding knife designed by another knifemaker.He designed a folder based on one of his fixed blades and asked me to make a the prototype folder “the explorer “.Also a page on my blogsite about the progress will be published .
